Bike thread

Almost can’t believe there isn’t one here, but as bikes are like our children, let’s share what we ride, it may lead to more questions about parts and choices and why.

Ill start with a bike that has recently left my collection, due to other things getting n the way - a 2009 Specialized Langster. This is a single speed road bike aluminium frame carbon fork, it was an excellent bike and will be missed

This has been replaced by my current pride and joy (hybrid I’m afraid rather than full on road bike, but I needed the panniers for commuting to work) Merida Speeder 300. I still regularly get out for 50-70 mile rides on it, but when I get chance (and money) I’ll be getting a road bike for leisure riding as it’s a bit heavier and slower than I would like.
